I find it hard to write a good description for this particular piece because it just kind of formed along the way.
It originally was a sketch of some old bearded guy with tattoos that I liked a lot and decided to develope further in Photoshop just for fun.

I mostly paint with a basic round hard-edge brush set to other dynamics, but for this piece I made a lot of use of the chalk brushes to get a rough painterly effect.
